THE VINEYARDS

For over 50 years, the Marino family has passionately cultivated its vineyards in Agropoli, the tourist pearl of Campania. Located on the hills overlooking the bay of Trentova, at 250 meters above sea level, these vineyards benefit from an exceptional terroir, perfectly suited to the production of quality WINES. The Marino family produces and bottles D.O.P. WINES. and I.G.P. exclusively from its own bunches, coming from varieties such as Fiano, Aglianico and Piedirosso. These varieties, cultivated in this region since Antiquity, have seen a decline in their production over the years, while many Cilento producers turned towards more popular international varieties. However, Vigneto Marino stands out for its desire to preserve these ancestral vines, precisely capturing the richness of the Campania terroir. The bunches are cultivated with care and manual harvesting allows for rigorous selection, ensuring that only the best bunches are used. It respects natural cycles and adopts sustainable practices, ensuring production that respects the environment and local ecosystems. The family estate today extends over approximately 33 hectares, of which 15 hectares of vineyards distributed between vines and olive trees, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming. The clayey-limestone soils give a unique complexity and richness to the wines. The soils are treated organically and the vineyards benefit from pruning practices, bunch thinning and manual harvesting to optimize the quality of the grapes.

The red wines are then refined in Cilento oak barrels, made by a master cooper from Agropoli. Each phase of the process, from the cultivation of the vineyards to the winemaking and marketing of the wines, is directly supervised by the Marino family. This commitment ensures high quality standards and builds a relationship of trust with their customers. The third generation continues this tradition with rigor, while integrating innovative and sustainable practices.

Innovative in their approach, the Marino family has transformed their property into a business powered entirely by solar energy, underlining their commitment to environmental sustainability. Each bottle reflects the family's commitment to quality, tradition and ecology, offering a modern vision of viticulture where excellence and respect for the environment meet.
